Attorney Melissa Maurer Taylor

Melissa obtained her Juris Doctor With Honors in 2002 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating in the top 25% of her class, and became a licensed, practicing lawyer that same year. Throughout her career she has served as Assistant General Counsel of a large statewide corporation, has practiced as an estates & trusts and asset protection attorney, has co-owned and operated a successful construction company, and has assisted numerous startups, small businesses, and entrepreneurs with forming, operating, and growing their businesses. Today she manages her own law practice and is dedicated to solving client’s legal issues related to business and estate planning matters.

Melissa is efficient, detailed and professional and yet warm and friendly. She truly cares about her clients and is committed to achieving results quickly at a reasonable price. She understands the importance of customer service and maintains constant communication with each client every step of the way.  

In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, reading, boating, and learning. She is a second generation attorney and graduated from Edgewater High School and UCF as well as the University of Florida for law school.
